PS: There is one thing I don't like about this photo... the use of pesticides. I prefer organic, ecological and sustainable crops. Pesticides kill insects. If the insects die, the birds have no food. And every day that passes, there are fewer birds... simply because there are no insects. The only species that is a plague on Earth... is humans.

PS: And as explained in ecology and ecosystems or the same words of the best ecologist, oceanographer and limnologist, Ramón Margalef... no plague can survive. Sooner or later... all the plagues, they finish and they are extinguished.

Museum Het Depot, Wageningen Villa Hinkeloord

Sculpture Gallery Het Depot is located at three locations, which are interconnected by Arboretum De Dreijen. In Villa Hinkeloord there is a permanent exhibition of the work of Eja Siepman van den Berg with changing exhibitions in the downstairs room.

Face to face with an egret. In Key West at the Sunset Pier the egreat stood there and wasn’t shy and so I could photograph them from a very short distance.

In Key West am Sunset Pier stand ein Reiher. Er war nicht scheu. So konnte ich ihn von ganz Nah fotografieren.

It wasn't a day for sailing, but for making pictures ; )

"Shine On You Crazy Diamond", was written as a tribute to Syd Barrett, one of the founders of Pink Floyd. He was also known as "The Crazy Diamond Syd". As many of you know, I love being in the forest. I took this on Mt. Habrich, on top of the Sea to Sky Gondola. The trail was mostly empty, but it was nice to see another photographer along the way.

spend my time in The New Forest. I am so lucky to live in a small town on the edge of the National Park. This means I spend a considerable amount of my time walking through the woods and across the heathland, taking photos of the wildlife which live there. It is not unusual to see the wild horses, donkeys, pigs or cows walking along the roads as they have the freedom to roam the entire area. It is a magical place where I love to be

With floods on the way, I dived back to my first digital camera and a hike in Alaska. I shot a number of these. About as shot.

We don't have to evacuate, but some roads are closing. The emergency text system worked well last night. Stay safe, everyone, from omicron, floodwaters, and other dangers.

Any closer and the camera would have been behind me. :)

Joking aside, these are actually really hard for me to do and I have tremendous admiration

for those that do these on a regular basis.
