-->> ..story from the 'TMNT Warriors' card ::
And so it came to pass that the world's balance of power had shifted due to the displacement of the secret Mutant treasure - the Metallized Kowabunga Coins.
Warrior Bebop and Warrior Rocksteady scattered the Coins, knowing they would create a pro-Foot flux - and that's just what happened.
Now, Warrior Winged Leonardo along with Warrior Winged Donatello, fight for all that is wrong!
Allied with the Foot, our Warrior Winged Turtles turn their fighting skills against Warrior Metalhead Michaelangelo, who is the lone voice of truth.
Don't even ask what happened to Raphael. Let's just say that pizza won't be part of the picture for awhile until all the Metallized Kowabunga Coins are reunited and balance can be restored.
Unfortunately, the Warrior Winged Turtles still have the fighting finesse of true Ninja Turtles. Wielding their weapons of ultimate Turtle terror, and protected with their metallized battle plates, these Turtle terrors power-pound dents into Warrior Metalhead Michaelangelo with their mighty sewer spiked clobber clubs.
It's a metallic battle face-off finale when the Warrior Winged Turtles challenge Warrior Metalhead Michaelangelo, bad boy battle weapons in hand and victory is just a swingin' slice away!

In another section of Laserdome, Shetsu gets carried away with some "frlendly fire" and tags Donatello.
I started out wanting to draw Shetsu-san in the "Eastman/Laird" style. But then I thought of somethimg even more cool; why not all three at once?
xD -feel free to tag!

From this angle, most of what you see is finished. I still have to detail the interiors of the white and the tan buildings, and finish off the underground behind the Turtle's lair, but that isn't visible from this side. This project evolved from a couple TMNT sets, and took on a life of its own, and has brought back a lot of memories of TMNT from when I was a kid. I still haven't caught any episodes from the current series, but I'll keep an eye out for it. I'm going to set this project aside for a bit and finish my painting wip and then work on Spirit of Memphis some more.
" - OK, 122... 122 1/8? 122 1/8. Terrific. Where the heck is 122 1/8?
- You're standing on it, Dude! Just pass it down here! "
A scene from the 1990 live action movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I watched this movie countless times as a kid, and it remains one of my all-time favourite movies. For what you would think was a kids-movie, it's actually pretty dark, but it also has a good dose of humor.
Not visible in the photo is the sewer grate through which the pizza gets exchanged for a $10 bill. I tried to pose the turtles so that Michelangelo would hold the money through the grate, but I couldn't find a way to make it work, so I left them sitting like they're doing while they wait for the pizza guy.
I built this scene for a contest in my LUG where we were tasked to build a set of scenes from a movie or TV series. Yes, that means I have a couple more scenes from this movie to show ;)
One of my entries for the Brickheadz contest on Brickset.
