A boatyard scene at Stibbington, nice bit of decay on this boat. Grey day but a nice scene with a good mix of shapes (natural and man-made) and textures, and the new(ish) vans and the old boat.

The limitations of the square format with the Rolleiflex Twin Lens Reflex camera force you to think about the framing in camera. And to add a little complexity, the waist-level viewfinder through ground glass reverses the image (so left is right and vice versa). Once again the medium format image is crystal clear with minimal grain. The colour from the Kodak Gold 200 is perfect, I think.

Testing TrioFlex TLR, Lomography Earl Grey 100 120 film developed with ID-11 stock, 6 min.
This frame looks like an outlier, different from other ones. I have no idea why (probably used settings for ISO 200 instead of ISO 100).
The Mamiya C220 patiently waiting it's turn whilst I quickly grabbed a shot with a Canon 5DSR. Briefly, the sky was fabulous just after our early swim.

Shot with Rolleiflex 3.5T medium format TLR on Ilford Delta 100 film. Developed in Sprint chemistry, pushed 2 stops. Negative scanned on Epson V600 scanner. Post-processing in Photoshop. Cropped 4x5 (portrait).

its not much of a composition i know and normally i wouldn't post such a photo but i really love how the window looks here. this was taken early in the morning - my daughters love soft boiled eggs with toast soldiers :)

Hi my flickr friends!!
Long time since my last post, and i had to come back with my dear mini Danbo. Just made a small break from studies and went to a beautifull park, since it was a beautifull morning Danbo went with me to try his new camera.

Out of the blue, a friend gifted me a tiny toy camera. The Chuzhao TLR looks like a Rolleiflex 4x4 left in the dryer too long, but it's really a spiritual descendant of the Holga and Dianna toy cameras. Under the pop-up lens hood is a 1-1/2 inch preview, which isn't backwards and upside-down like film TLRs. It's not a serious camera, but that's what made it unexpectedly fun. The look-down viewfinder and the camera's lilliputian* dimensions demand a non-standard approach to subjects. That change is its biggest charm.
* Ever since it arrived, I've been thinking how to work that word into a review.
