Yesterday afternoon I took my bike and camera and went into the woods near my house in hope to find some mushrooms. Well there was not much to be found. I took a string of tiny lights with me because I saw a video of Daan de Vos were he used them to create a bokeheffect. I was struggeling with my sx because the effect is totally different from a DSRL. Back home I was not satisfied at all so I used the blur effect in filterstorm again and this is the outcome. I can live with this and hope you like it to allthough its not straight out of the camera :-)

This is a composite shot. The star trails were created with roughly 300 photos take with a Nikon D600 15mm Fisheye lens. The photos were slowly zoomed in with the help of LR Timelapse and Lightroom. Then they were stacked in Starstax. Another photo was my girlfriend and I kissing with the Nikon D800 @24mm. I merged the 2 photos in post!

I am very excited to announce an HDR Book entitled “A World in HDR”! It’s a 216-page book that should be everything you have been waiting for. The vast majority of the book contains select pieces from the portfolio along with extended descriptions, tips, and more information about how the photo was achieved. The second part of the book contains the HDR Tutorial along with a few bonus steps to help you get extra oomph in your creations!

More sample photos taken with the Lensbaby Velvet mounted on a Sony A7. Focusing this combo is a bit of a challenge... add in low point of view and the challenge is tripled..

Their ability to 'sew' their own homes is what fetched them this name. They are song birds and were popularized by Kipling in his poem 'The jungle book' in 1894. Their sewing abilities are beautifully covered in this video thekidshouldseethis.com/post/tailorbird-nest

#tipsandtricks - It took me three weeks, a cemented butt and heavy showers to get to this little one. So my friends, waiting it out, being observant and may be cheating a little with electronic bird voices are the only tricks to capturing a bird ( on your camera ofcourse)...

I've used the new '1x2 Half-Circle Tiles' in this build.

We had a flat battery on the Corolla, but this was still in the post!

I will never use jumper leads again.

I bet the first time I use it in anger, is on someone else's car!

At the moment it is charging my old HTC mobile and the old iPad as it played Leonard Cohen to my Bose speaker.

www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAPczLULhUgzxxM5Jf7LXepkbC...

There are enough USB-A ports to power the Bose too, and at the same time as I charge the JS80. (it has pass-through charging...)

Now I am changing the Bose via the DC interface port on the JS80 with the supplied DC to cigarette lighter cable and the iTechWorld QC 3.0 (whatever that means) port to the Bose USB-A output interface via the Bose USB-A male to micro USB-B into the Bose Get all that lol...

The iTechworld JS80 can keep mobile phones charged via its Quick charge USB ports, provide lighting via its tactical grade torch and provides regulated power to 12v appliances such as a travel fridge or heated blanket.

I bought a 50w blanket and Mary tried it out for an hour.

The JS80 then took 6 hours to recharge from 25%.

Clip from the PDF manual..

The JS80 has four charge LEDs 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. The charging LEDs indicate the state of charge (SOC) of the internal battery of the JS80. The charging time of the JS80 will vary depending on the discharge level and the power supply used.

5V 2A - 10 hours

9V 2A - 6 hours

12V 1.5A - 6 - 8 hours 12V 3A - 3 - 4 hours 20V 1.5A - 4 - 6 hours 20V 3A - 2 - 3 hours

Charging up to five devices here…

It charged two iPads, a mobile phone and the BOSE speaker & used down to 25% over 6 hours.

Type A is the female port on the computer (the host). The ports on the peripheral or mobile device are Type B, Mini USB, Micro USB or Apple Lightning.

Before USB-C was introduced, Type A ports were found on every computer.

USB-C is Symmetrical

A negative review from another user..............

As you can see the battery has swollen. It has been kept regularly charged and under my car seat.

Took it back to itechworld their comments :

No, don't use it.

They can replace the battery but a new one is about the same price.

No warranty, no offer of a discount on a new one just blunt - buy a new one nothing else on offer by way of assistance.

Obviously won't buy anything more from them given this and other issues, poor service (previous enquiries that went unanswered). I know two other people who have had the itech packs fail to operate.

I do wonder how dangerous a battery in this state could be!

BUYERS BEWARE this company is only interested in taking your money and once they have it you’re on your own.

MANAGEMENT Hides behind employees who are clearly embarrassed.

SERVICE département Inefficient & Incompetent.

AFTER SALES Service Nonexistent.

Just tested and it will power the acer laptop with a USB C cable to the recently found USB C input next to the power connection.

Harvard Book Store, Cambridge, Mass. - Handheld Night Scene Mode used. The resulting image is well exposed and with much less digital noise than an image of the same scene taken in Av Mode. Image sharpness is lost with Handheld Night Scene Mode but could be compensated for with sharpening in post-processing. Shutter speed 1/80, aperture f/5.6, ISO 10,000.

Be sure to register your non-CPU lenses (focal length, aperture, AI/non-AI) in the menu, and flip up the AI coupling tab on the Df when using a non-AI lens. You can then meter with the camera using AI or non-AI lenses, working in M and A mode. With AI lenses, change the aperture on the lens aperture ring and the camera will reflect that aperture setting. With non-AI lenses you have to manually match the aperture ring setting with the camera's aperture setting that you dial in (and view in the viewfinder or displays).
