The amber tinted wings of this large darner made me realize there was something different about this guy, and I watched it cruise back and forth, to and fro for about 20 minutes before it captured a bug and landed to devour it. I made this ensurance/documentary shot, and when I was moving to get on her sunny side, she took off and never landed again! :{(
