Study Tip: Listening to relaxing music such as classical or jazz on a low volume can relieve some of the boredom of studying. #study
This is the basic set up for my poster. I've adjusted the positions of the barista, bartender, and waiter to create a bit more cohesion, I guess. I tried to keep the palette a little on the down side. I wanted the health cross to be green, but it just got absolutely eaten by the colors around it and disappeared.
I think I might swap so the barista's holding the health cross and so the bartender's holding the graduation hat.
I want to add a lot of texture to this like with the hair, the banners, and especially where the stripes of the waiter meet the bartender's tie since that makes just a weird shape. I'll also skooch the waiters' far right stripes and suspender to make them more obvious. For the time being, however, this is what I've got. I'm still completely open for critiques.
Sequence showing orange tip laying egg on everlasting wallflower (Erysimum), developing egg and hatched larva. Sussex, UK.
After nibbling briefly on the seed head the larva curled into a ball and did not move for more than 24 hours. It vanished some time within the following few hours.
My first thought about "tip" was to photograph someone spitting into the wind. That may have turned out kinda gross so I went instead with a "tip of the hat." My lovely assistant and model George happens to have a brilliant hat for such purposes, though he is a reluctant participant (notice the hatred just bubbling under the surface - what a steely eye!)
And then it was a smidge of lightening around his right eye, a sepia tone to make it old-school (who tips their hat nowadays?) and a bit of vignetting as a finishing touch.
