I thought I would take a short break from posting about American politics.
Shelby being sick has us so upset, along with the costs of trying to save him, that I'm just not able to be cheery and sociable right now. He was taken to a critical care hospital today and a feeding tube will be put in place on Friday. There's no obvious cause for him being sick, except that he stopped eating and it's caused liver issues. Theoretically, if we can get food in him, the liver issues will improve and his potassium levels will return to normal. It's the same thing that happens if a person stops eating or becomes dehydrated....it's all about getting food intake, but he's too weak right now to do it on his own. He's not beyond recovery yet, so we will try. He's still very feisty and doesn't quite understand what's happening to him. Anyway.....I may look and fave photos, but please forgive me if I don't comment. Lindsey's birthday is on the 14th, so I need to direct my feeble energy towards her, we are both exhausted from worry. I know some here will say 'it's just a cat', but with us, our cats are never 'just cats', they are little people with fur. Anyway....I'll be back once we get this sorted, whether it's a good or bad outcome, but until then....later, everyone.

I posted one similar to this a while back but it was created manually and was much more difficult to do than this one... There is a little App that I bought for Windows 10 that makes them from your picture in nothing flat... And they look a lot smoother at the join, too... Can't go wrong for a buck fifty....
