Week 3 Theme: Body Part
So its late at night, we are trying to put the little guy to bed and he isn't ready yet. I say to my wife I need to photograph his hands for my photo of the day. As I walk over to him with the camera, he clasps one hand for me take the shot. Funny how things work out well like that.
This is one of my friend's daughters. She really seemed to be interested in the camera. It kept her from crying for a while.
She was in a swing at the time I took this. Her rocking back and forth and the slowly fading outside light made this quite a difficult shot to take. Believe me I have lots more where the focus was off.
It is amazing how tiny babies hands are. Especially their fingernails. Judit is reaching over to "test the waters" with Samantha again.
I did a family photo shoot on Sunday and the little girl (who is about 1 year old) was crawling all over the place - it was hard to keep up with her - as we were on this bridge taking shots - I saw her tiny little hand poke though the railing - and it looked like a good shot to me.
Used a green filter on this photo. Nothing special. I have been keeping my camera on manuel so I have to change all the settings myself so I can learn different things on my camera I didn't know before.
It was a nice looking building until some tiny-dicked asshole narcissist put his name on it. Notice, no other buildings are similarly stamped in Chicago. What a dipshit!
Today I went to SF Zoo with a friend and her daughter. More photos will follow.
The squirrel monkeys were especially cute but behind a fence which made them hard to take photos of. Though in this shot I saw the advantage of the fence.
Most of the animals at the zoo were not behind bars. The zoo was remarkably open with animals roaming large enclosures quite freely and happily. I was rather impressed with the zoo.
Never did I know that fingers this small could exist.
Never did I know how hard it would be to capture the tininess.
