Amsterdam - Landsmeerderdijk / Buiksloterdijk.

The Dam tot Damloop ( English: Dam to Dam Run) is an annual road running event. The main event is a 10-mile race from Amsterdam to Zaandam, with more than 40.000 runners this year.

First build for Vignweek 2022!

Prompt: Take any official LEGO set released before the year 2000 and revamp it.

I chose to revamp a set from the Time Cruisers line, 6492 Hypno Cruiser.

Now you may be thinking, it’s nearing the end of January why would you post Christmas Baubles now?! And the answer is that while all of these were finished before Christmas, it took quite a bit of time to get all the photos edited and compiled. Plus most of them are not exclusively Christmas themed.

You can blame Markus and Roguebricks for getting me hooked on building custom scenes for the LEGO baubles. Couldn’t stop making more…

Second batch should be coming soon as there were too many to fit in one collage.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy them!

Lots more images with each scene in its bauble and alternate angles on Brickbuilt.

At the hands of the Time Cruisers (or was it sabotage by the Time Twisters) Blacktron ended up with the Islanders.

The Islanders who had never seen such men in black thought they were gods, Blacktron made good use of this.

For example, they adapted existing buildings so that they could stay in contact with each other at long distances, they also adapted well-known vehicles and developed a Blacktron Water Strider.

The Blacktron who wanted to go home again have captured Timmy so they can entrap Dr. Cyber. Ingo the monkey tries to save Timmy but hasn't succeeded yet.

By the way, not all Blacktron want to go back, some find this paradise to their liking, better than those bare rocks where they came from.

Build for the LOWLUG Time Cruise Contest!, to show the effects that the Time Cruisers can have.

I tried to keep it somewhat in theme of both Blacktron and the Islanders official sets, can you spot all the animals?

The Magic Mountain Time Lab from LEGO's old theme Time Cruisers. I remember wanting this set when I was little, really liked the idea of having a secret lab built into a mountain. So hey, I figured I'd try making my own version.

Due to, let's say timeskips and general time-fuckery, the main cast has changed a bit.

Felt like doing another one of these again, so here's a movie poster throwback to Time Cruisers - but with a unique 80s synthwave twist!

P.S: You can use this in your own personal city layout if you really like it, but please credit me if you do!

A micro version of the Time Cruisers set 6493, Flying Time Vessel, built for the Brickset 60 Years of the Lego Brick contest. I figure what better way to show the history of Lego than by recreating a vehicle that travels around in its history!

Put on a hat, turn the crank to spin the Timechair and off you go!

It’s all about Time!

It’s time I finally cruised on in with my own recolour of the Interstellar space ship designed by @aaronbrickdesigner

Inspired to join in on the fun by @lego.joey @fleebnork @fazoom7 @mbgilliam45 @danishspaceprogram @troublesbricking @angusmaclane and many more!

TimeCruisers is one of my top 5 fave themes. Not only because I grew up reading the comics. But the action and sense of adventure in the sets them selves led my childhood into many worlds of imagination. Also the absolute ridiculousness of parts used to make their wacky contraptions was hilariously fun!

Made entirely out of set 6497-1. The swirl on the front really spins, and the funnel moves like the original set. Built out of leftover pieces is a signal station, and a Wizard General with a ray gun.

As the resident technology person in my division at Mississippi State University I'm required to wear many hats. Working in Continuing Education I make a transition each day to working on both our website and our online courses. In this session we will take a look at a basic overview of learning management systems and some basic tools used in our LMS here at Mississippi State. We'll compare open source (Moodle, Sakai, and Docebo) to pay LMS (Blackboard, Desire2Learn, and TimeCruiser) and discuss the online course layout in terms of asynchronous and synchronous learning and best practices for your online instructors.

Made entirely out of set 6497-1: Twisted Time Train. The swirl on the front really spins, the funnel moves like the original set, except it has an added bat which 'flies' out of it.

Timmy and Dr. Cyber travel back in time to Pirates I.

Time Cruisers was always a theme that intrigued me as a kid. I found out about it from reading through LEGO Minifigure encyclopedias, which only had pictures and descriptions of the figures, -- not the sets. I didn't get to see the sets until R.R. Slugger's Time Cruisers retrospective series.
