Secret reads: "I'm in college but I still find it hard to tell time."

"I am constantly torn between killing myself and killing everyone around me. Those seem to be the two choices, everything else is just killing time."

Clocks slay time... time is dead as long as it is being clicked off by little wheels; only when the clock stops does time come to life. ~William Faulkner

This is the week I really need to concentrate. 5 more days until day 100 and I'd really like something to show for it. I'm not exactly blaming myself that its been a bad week, because I know out of a year I'll have a few. I just want this one to be great.

I'm thinking about doing a print giveaway, but im not sure I have enough contacts for it. Let me know if you're interested?

random fact: I am very quiet while in groups of people

(day 93 and 94 friend only)

A lady beggar on one of Chisinau streets near Nike store. The photo isn't manipulated. It was a great moment I captured.

I named it time because it represents the flow of time by the movement of the two persons and by the contrast in age between the beggar and the girl on the advertising board.

Looking very much like a white haired (feathered!) old man (bird!) this male Blackbird is shedding his feathers before getting his Winter plumage. I think he looks rather cute and will no doubt look as handsome as ever in a few weeks time : )

all the missed opportunities

all the things i've said

all the things i've not said

all the wrong things i've done

all the good things i haven't done

but, if i could turn back the time,

i would probably make just as many mistakes.

A mad dash through the back streets of Woodley and Twyford had got us from Duffield Road to Ruscombe while Bittern filled up with water... A third shot of Bittern for the day! LNER Gresley A4 Pacific 4-6-2 4464 "Bittern" pulls away from its scheduled stop at Twyford, leading the return Oxford to Lewes "Cathedrals Express" charter . The A4 took over the train at Willesden and was a late replacement for A1 "Tornado", which failed its fitness to run examination the day before.

Test shot for a photoshoot. I never saw the end result, but it was:

* Me taking a photo of Caterina, ...

* while they took a photo of us (made meta since their lights and stuff hung in the shot),

* posted to Flickr,

* projected up on a screen,

* while we sat on stools in front the laptop connected to the projector, looking back into the camera which took in the whole scene.

Cheap Time live in SLC

My first time trying to shoot at a rodeo. It was a lot of fun, considering the low lights and the fast action I am pleased, of course, I think I can do better next time.

Time Passages

It was late in December

The sky turned to snow

All round the day was going down slow

Night like a river beginning to flow

I felt the beat of my mind

Go drifting into time passages

Years go falling in the fading light

Time passages

Buy me a ticket on the last train home tonight

Well, I'm not the kind to live in the past

The years run too short and the days too fast

The things you lean on

Are the things that don't last

Well, it's just now

And then my line gets cast into these

Time passages

There's something back here that you left behind

Oh, time passages

Buy me a ticket on the last train home tonight"

Good morning. With insects now long gone I decided to spend some time in the yard this past week with the intent of getting a few photos of the Slate-colored Juncos that have returned for the winter. Unfortunately I was unsuccessful so I decided to stake out the birdbath, which I haven't done for a while. Glad I did as quite a few birds stopped by in spite of the chilly weather. First up was the above Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata), considered by many to be the prettiest of North American birds.

Today's series doesn't include every yard visitor we normally get, Cardinals being notably absent, just of the ones I was able to get a decent photo. And it's kind of a long series, so please bear with if you will.

Thank you for visiting...I hope you have a great Friday and a most pleasant weekend, and a very Happy Deepavali to all my flickr friends in India.

Café solo con un poco de leche (espresso, just a little milk)

Is time real or just a figment of imagination? As I weave the threads space and time, I control my path, my destination, my future. It appears I hide behind a mask of fear, but really it is a mask of will, a mask i wear proudly. I descend into the darkness, and weave the threads of space of time. Why pursue light, when light comes to me at my specifications.
