Palm Beach Zoo, West Palm Beach, FL
Here's another shot of Maya, taken two weeks ago at the Palm Beach Zoo. I don't have any new photos (yet), so this one will have to do. I finally got my new hard drives today. The ones I got in May were full and I didn't realize it until, well until they were full.

“Where's the love song?
To set us free
Too many people down
Everything turning the wrong way around
And I don't know what love will be
But if we start dreaming now
Lord knows we'll never leave the clouds
And you've been so busy lately
that you haven't found the time
To open up your mind
And watch the world spinning gently out of time”

Here's a quick review of what I've been working on since returning from the eastern Sierra. I still have so much to learn but am slowly figuring out what works and what falls flat. Some of the movements are done on a motorized slider, and others are done in post. My slider is only 3 feet and I can tell I want about twice that.
I have a lot of time-lapse sequences I've taken over the past year or so and am working on a cohesive, artistic compilation. If I don't get a new pc or at least 8 more GB of RAM I may be bald before it's done!
I had a lot of issues in the field with my D800 dropping out frames in the lapses which makes little jumps...I'm hoping that my cards are just too slow and the buffer is filling up (I shoot RAW) but sometimes it just seems like the camera quits for a couple frames and then starts up again.
I am processing the sequences in Lightroom and LRTimelapse, final work done in Premiere Pro or if I'm lazy like tonight, I throw quickies together using Windows Live Movie Maker. Still struggling a bit with deflickering and have yet to find a quick and easy fix for it.
Yogyakarta also Jogja, Jogjakarta is a city and the capital of Yogyakarta Special Region in Java, Indonesia. It is renowned as a centre of classical Javanese fine art and culture such as batik, ballet, drama, music, poetry, and puppet shows. Yogyakarta was the Indonesian capital during the Indonesian National Revolution from 1945 to 1949. One of the districts in Yogyakarta, Kotagede, was the capital of Mataram Sultanate between 1575 and 1640. The city is named after the Indian city of Ayodhya from the Ramayana epic. Yogya means 'suitable, fit, proper', and karta, 'prosperous, flourishing' (i.e., 'a city that is fit to prosper').

Orange the World 2018 -Timor-Leste
The Swedish Embassy in Jakarta in collaboration with UN Women and UNICEF in Timor-Leste, organized a photo exhibition “Swedish & Timorese Dads”, as part of the 16 Days campaign in 2018 to encourage fathers to take a more active role in children's caregiving and be allies for promoting gender equality in Timor-Leste. The objective of the exhibition was to create a discussion and debate on the gender role between men and women.
Photo participant, Efigenia and Evandro tour the exhibition with their son.

I had the opportunity to shoot at Ikonix studio in Des Moines. We had a blast shooting pet and human portraits. I can't wait to spend some more time in the studio learning how to manipulate different types of lights.

Colour changed...(For those who don't know..Burnham On Sea UK beach is normally a muddy brown colour as we are an Estuary/Channel ..)
This is a little plant I had at work - every time I passed it the leaves were in a different position so I set up the time lapse to see how much it changed during the day. It had quite a bit of movement in just a few hours.
Taken at Melton church with a new Nikon 30-110mm lens. I hadn't really noticed the gargoyle to the right of the clock before...

Visited with Wiffsmiff23. A permission visit to a local sma-ll, volunteer run theatre and cinema in a local town 30 minutes away. Two hours spent exploring inside and some time in the projection room to finish as a bonus.
This is the oldest theatre site in Wales. It was extensively refurbished in 1927 but as it retained the basic structure of the Victorian building it can claim to be one of, if not, the oldest working theatre in Wales. The present building stands on the site of what was The Bell Inn, the history of which can be traced back to at least 1794. More history can be found here: www.monmouth-savoy.co.uk/history/

I got to meet All TIme Low again! I walk up to Jack and he says "Hey I know you". Ah! I was freaking out that he remembered me! Jack left a voicemail for my friend Libby and she freaked when she heard it haha. I got them to sign my Put Up or Shut Up album cover because I got them to sign Nothing Personal at Warped Tour. I told them they we're my favorite band and that they have no idea how much they mean to me then Rian hugged me for a long time. He's like a big brother to everyone because after he hugged me he told me not to stand out in rain anymore because he doesn't want me to get sick :) Please ignore how gross i look it was raining like crazy but it was an amazing day! :D
