Time check.
A business man rushes through the city during his lunch break. As the time slips away he takes the time for a time check.

Second time I've owned this skirt. I wore it a lot at the start of the century, and am really pleased I've found it again :-)
Another day of chasing the clouds at the Sand Dunes. This time, I was looking for abstract opportunities, and the fluffy white clouds were few and scattered. I was forced to run up and down the dunes to try to catch the fast moving clouds with my big stopper. I hope you guys enjoy this shot.
Thanks for viewing and have a wonderful day!

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
Fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain
And you are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say

“A human being is part of a whole, called by us, the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

I haven't been here for a while, because I don't have much time to spot great shots here on flickr, more time to fav them, more time to describe them carefully without help of bd's toys:

It's a really busy summer for me and my fiancée this year... We are both working hard to prepare our little apartment where we'll hopefully start livin' our adult life in a week or two... We also both work to make some money for this life...
For sure this summer I can not call "vacation" anymore... but in a few weeks I'll be proud to sleep in my own bed, in my own place, with my own girl living my own life.
And then... I'll probably have a little more time to share with all of you here on flickr.
See you soon and thanks for all your great photos, kind comments and favs :)
** NOTE **
These photos where not taken by me.
All the originals can be found in my favorites pages or via the links in the description.
P.S.
It took me nearly an hour to prepare these photos and write this note.
So tonight I will sleep a little less than average, but I don't think this time was wasted :)
My Doctor Who Time Squad figs arrived today, and they're just the cutest little things ever. I hearts them muchly.
If you watch Who, you'll know all these characters, but for those that don't, I named 'em via notes. :)

As time flies these buildings get bent along the curvature of the street. Flexible enough they don’t just break, rather distort their shapes to follow the time.

This panorama was made from 3 separate images that I stitched together in Photoshop.
The resulting image was processed twice, a colour version in Photoshop and a black and white version in Silver Efex Pro. In Photoshop I then layered the two images with the black and white version on the top and then erased the top layer to reveal the colour beneath.
Santorini is such a wonderful place, I'm suprised that my camera did not wear out.
