If you suddenly found that you travelled back to ancient Egypt and saw the pyramids, what would you say?
Some great lighting can be had at this time of day ... came together nicely here at the end of the pier in this composition.

That one is the result of some more play with the lens adjustment to the widest aperture opening to focus on the foreground and get the maximum depth of field effect. Once I got my head around that f-numbering system, it has become ever so interesting and funny and usually makes me forget about the time altogether. This resigned face is the result of a rather long posing session, and she most certainly was hoping this would be brought to a happy close with her escaping her bath....Well, she was wrong ...:)
Happy start into the week ahead, everyone!

I took a trip to one of Brisbane neighbouring Islands this weekend just gone and rode around on the pushy with my best mate, camera in tow of course. We managed to stumble up on these dead trees, some nice jetties and beautiful beaches! I love little explorations!

It was now just a matter of time. The bombs had been dropped. The skies lit up as the ground shook before her. There she was nowhere to run nowhere to hide. This was her doing. The sky would darken as the toxic air and ash creeped its way over everything. She just closed her eyes and waited. Her lungs would feel it first the suffocation. As her eyes burned from the ash she just stood there letting it eat her alive.
