150271 crosses the River Don in the heart of Sheffield and passes some derelict industrial buildings some of which are finding new uses as gyms and meeting halls serving the community.
150271 was working the 1813 from Huddersfield.
This shot is a composite image. I was pushing the limits of low light photography, the two images are separated by only 12 minutes. I have only used the light plume from the street lamps from the second image. This has enabled me to maintain a low grain image with that lighting up feel. The last step was to darken the whole image by 1 stop.
Thanks for taking the time to view my image. Your comments & faves are greatly appreciated.

Bonowice 2017. Żniwa.
Kiedyś - snopki, dziś - wałki są nieodłącznym elementem sierpniowego krajobrazu. W taki właśnie sposób powstają.
This morning I watched
a mushroom
eat a stump.
I ate the mushroom
and the stump ate time.
10,000 years ago
became now
as ice receded
leaving kettles
hovering above till.
Eventually the spores
showed me two things-
-our star was aging out
-eventually and aging out
are meaningless.
Just names.

The siesta is a time honoured tradition and it seems that no time is too early and no place too inconvenient for a good siesta, as this pair in a rowboat by the Chapala Malecon shows. Chapala city, Jalisco State, Mexico

Tired of laying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain.
Been here a long time . ( some Pink Floyd lyrics ) .
Long exposure fun on a windy day.
Many thanks for all views and fav's - particularly comments!
All are greatly appreciated!
I went for a walk yesterday to a place I have wanted to see for a long long time, High cup Nick. Getting ever closer to 70 I’ve decide to tick off these places before I can’t. Of course regardless of age I still needed to put a little adventure into it so I decided to approach it from the valley and scramble up to the top. Here is a panorama image of 5 stitched photographs of this magnificat glaciated valley. The rock in the foreground is where I emerged after a stiff climb up the front, the last 50 feet was an easy scramble made a little harder with the rocks having ice and frost on.

Went back to Fisherman's Terminal and decided to get a pic similar to one I took during the day. Felt like messing around with B&W for the first time and felt like it really fits ships at night.
Every year a shepherd with a flock of sheep passes through our hometown. The sheep mow the grass and provide fertilization at the same time. For me, that is a moment to look forward to every year. They are photogenic animals, although they do not exactly pose calmly. The grazing of the sheep is a beautiful spectacle. This photo was taken a few minutes after grazing and I accidentally ended up in the middle of the herd. A wonderful experience to be surrounded by these woolly four-legged friends.
And when you, as a sheep, are finally in your new place and peace has returned, a delicious meal awaits you, where the tastiest is the hardest to achieve.
Thanks for your views, faves and comments. Wish you all the best, HSoS, Angeline.
Time is very slow for those who wait.
Very fast for those who are scared,
very long for those who lament.
Very short for those who celebrate,
But for those who love time is eternal.
- William Shakespeare
A fair amount of time has gone by since I took this image. I went back here middle of last week, bumped into Sunset Snapper - good to see you again Adrian. I took a few images but nothing to shout out about, didn't help that I'd forgotten to bring my 85mm wide angle adaptor for my filter holder and therefore couldn't use them.
This image was from November 2013

...
and yes, still alive and kicking :)
sorry haven't had time to do much of anything on here as of late, reality taking up most of the time I have available lately...
But I admit some of the free time I have had has been spent doing music, picking up and trying again after a long absence...
and have a soundcloud account for those who'd be interested :)
Not much on there so far, but will be working there as well as here too.
and hope to catch up a bit more here too :)
