New post of the Alpha male from the wolf den of last summer.
So far, I have had no luck in finding more than wolf tracks this winter, but it is not for lack of trying.
I want to thank the organizers of LD LMT for putting on the show. Its dudes like you that remind me I'm doing something worth while. Like chasing MMA1 till 2 in the morning...

My "lifer" Timber Rattlesnake at Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. We actually saw two in one day!
The old Princes Pier at Port Melbourne is worth a visit if you are in the area. This is a 30-sec exposure with a 10-stop ND filter.

70812 is seen at Helsby working the 6J37 1252 Carlisle Yard - Chirk Kronospan loaded timber train 29/6/23.
Alpha male patrolling den area. A large male black bear had been threatening the den on a prior day.
I was lucky enough to watch him for about 30 minutes but he spent about 20 of those minutes in two "catnaps." I will post some of those sleeping pics eventually.
Tågab rijdt diverse houttreinen door Zweden. Op 6 februari brengt Rc2 009 een beladen trein van Brista naar Hestra. Slechts zes minuten ervoor passeerde een nagenoeg identieke trein van Storå naar Fredrikslund.
Tågab runs timber trains between several locations in Sweden. On February 6th, Rc2 009 brings a loaded train from Brista to Hestra. Only six minutes earlier, it was preceeded by an almost identical train from Storå to Fredrikslund.
