The medieval village of Yvoire, located in Haute Savoie, France is classified as one of the most beautiful village in France. I certainly agree with that!

Shot using a Fotodiox Pro TLT ROKR adapter, my favorite way to shoot fireworks!

I hiked up a mountain with 42lb worth of gear to make sure I had everything I needed. Round trip was 5.2 miles with 1,000 feet of elevation gain. The return trip was obviously in the dark, which made for an interesting hike. At least it was cooler and mostly downhill, but half of the hike was done without any trails.

An original photo this week thanks to the use of the tilt-shift technique. This is to create an optical effect is to make the central scene "miniature". I also used a shot made in the same place and at the same time as the main photo but with a very accentuated bokeh effect. I hope you find the nice effect :)

toronto's old city hall seen from the top of the sheraton hotel. this is shot using the rented canon's 24mm L TS-E lens which is a tilt/shift lens and provides control over perspective and depth of field.

I was asked by matt, creative director of spacing magazine, to shoot the cover of their new issue. so he booked the rooftop of the sheraton and rented canon's tilt-shift lenses and we went shooting. it was an incredible experience.

the launch party for spacing's new issue is this coming thursday. click here for time and location.

My first try at one of these...

And I stand

On shaken ground

The earth moves beneath my feet

And I shout "forgive me"

But there's no god listening

And these walls surround us

Always black and grays I see

And we found this time

On our weakness it will feed
