If you walk to the Stuttgart Gallery you'll see this empty (only in winter time) fountain. Nice still life with this fallen leaf, I think.

yesterday and today i had to work cutting some tile. i had to cut these small squares on the left into the even smaller squarish on the right. this was so the homeowner could selectively replace some of the dark mosaic squares from the 12x12 tile underneath the pliers with the pieces that i cut. i guess i did 40 or more of these in temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

No, he is not advising you to buy sugary breakfast cereals. This was also taken at London Zoo, though I'm afraid I can't remember the name of the building. The main attraction of the building were the primates (especially Tamarins) who were left to frolic freely in the main area. One of the smaller Tamarins got a little over zealous and ran out of the exhibit onto the tile floor. He froze when he realised he was standing amongst several 'giants' (tourists) and was quickly scooted back to a tree by one of the employees.

The entire facility was built over the last three decades of the 19th century, at great cost. Once complete, it would be used as intended for much of the first half of the next century. As psychiatry moved away from inpatient treatments, it began to decline in use until its closure at century's end. Today, it is slowly deteriorating out of public view as it awaits reuse.

My first and only so far.
I love doing mosaics
I have a friend that seen it in my album and said that she loved it and wish she could do something like that, always wanted to try.
I gave this to her as a gift
and a bucket of mosaic pieces for her to give it a try.
