ich beobachtete das Tier, ein Fischotter konnte es nicht sein, ein Biber auch nicht (der Schwanz war zu dünn)..etwas später sah ich es am Ufer: dicklich, kleine Öhrchen, wache Augen, nicht sehr sympathisch...

Rotfuchs vor seinem Bau in der Wintersonne

The tiered building furthest away from the camera is a newish building in the Nine Elms area of London, an area that has been completely redeveloped in the last 15 years. I've been trying to get some decent shots of it for a while now. The problem is that it is fairly well enclosed by other buildings, so difficult to get a clear shot of, and also it needs lots of light to get the best out of it, something that has been sadly lacking on my recent visits to the area. So I finally managed it a couple of weeks ago on a photo walk with some fellow photographers from my Camera Club. This was shot with an old vintage Leica zoom lens which in itself needs a lot of light because it's not the fastest but it is really quite sharp and a surprisingly nice lens for shooting architecture.

Das Rotkehlchen ist eher ein Glückstreffer, als ein wirklich geplantes Model.

Es ist kein eigentlicher Bewohner des Tierparks.

Im Grunde wollte ich den Tiger fotografieren, als es an mir vorbei flog.

Überrascht stellte ich fest:" Oh ein Rotkehlchen." Setzte ihm nach und es landete tatsächlich zwischen dem Zaun des Tigergeheges.

Hatte nur einen Schuß, bevor es davon flog.

The robin is more of a stroke of luck than a really planned model.

It is not an actual resident of the zoo.

Basically I was about to photograph the tiger when it flew past me.

I was surprised to say, "Oh a robin." Chased after it and it actually landed in the fence of the tiger enclosure.

Only had one shot before it flew away.

Eigentlich leere ich die Krümel unseres Brotkorbes direkt an unserer Terrassentür für die Vögel aus, aber auch dem Mäuschen schmeckt es :-)

Actually I empty the crumbs of our bread basket right on our patio door for the birds, but they also taste good for the little mouse :-)
