The former ticket offices from the abandoned railway station of Montzen (B), where once train tickets could be bought.
Now it is a domain of graffiti sprayers who add some color to the desolation with their spray cans........

"I don't know" Maj replied, suddenly realizing she hadn't thought that far, she just had needed to get away.
"Well ma'am, in what direction would you like to go ?" The lady behind Maj let out a sigh this time.

A couple more from the about to be transformed Colston Hall in Bristol. This is one of the doors from the modern atrium into the old hall, the place where staff are normally stationed to take your tickets from you because the modern entrance is free access all day, every day, behind the doors you have to pay for!

Few takers for tickets on a cold and frosty 30 December at Lichfield Trent Valley with 313212 reflected in the screen of the ticket machine prior to departing with 2O23 to Bromsgrove.
Been trying to do some street shots, I don't find it easy. With this one however I cheated a bit as I was looking down over this crossing.

37601 with 350120 in tow is working hard towards Adderley Park running as 5Q91 Long Marston to Northampton EMD. Facilities here are somewhat basic with, what looks to be, an LNWR waitng shelter on this platform and a modern version on the opposite one which matches the street level ticket office and the dilapidated Station Hotel on Bordesley Green Road is just visible.
A selection of UK and Irish railway tickets used in the 50s and 60s, although some of the tickets were printed before nationalisation in 1948.
