On the way from Switzerland to France, we saw unusual well-groomed gardens with red apples and vineyards. The old part of the city of Lyon differs from other cities in comfort and simplicity. In the restaurants of Lyon, the home atmosphere, delicious food and wine. The French are happy to communicate with visitors. In a small market in Lyon, we bought fresh vegetables and fruits, delicious sweet tomatoes, apples and fresh lettuce leaves.
Incredible cathedrals in Lyon and we managed to visit three: the Cathedral of Saint-Jean, the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourviere, the Church of Saint-Nizier. On the funicular, we climbed to the top of Mount Fourviere, where a spectacular view of the whole city of Lyon was opened.
