07.17 - Because there must always be at least a few pictures of the Space Needle in an album that is in and around Seattle. Shot during the Bite of Seattle festival.
I was looking into this plant that lives over my sink when I saw this leaf just floating in the heart of it. Even after seeing it in the picture (looks about 50 microns thick, based on counting pixels), I still can't see the thread with my naked eye.
My mother-in-law has been saving fabric scraps and threads from all her sewing projects since the 70s. Some of these threads are much older than that that she got at an auction. They are all in such awesome condition. Wonder if any antiquers out there are looking for threads....
