Giant spools of thread purchased for fifty cents each. I think I'll use the bright green on my table cloth skirt. Or maybe that teal color.
Today I bought new cotton threads and they're so cute :3 The colours are really earthy!
I can't wait to start working on them!! Dunno... maybe I can make some YoSD/LTF cardigans? (+ a hat will make a nice cobination..).

I'm in the middle of making a little acrobat diorama for a swap with Jane, and this animation happened.
I got distracted by action and waylaid from non-swinging, somewhere in the process of feeling distracted from action by non-swinging. So the long and the short of it is, I don't quite know how this happened. But it did, and now I feel better, and more focused. Odd that.
Anyway, it was great fun to make. I got annoyed with iMovie 08, but Garageband 08 saved the day.

Oh yeah, and all she (I) really achieves is getting a tiny bit of thread round a small piece of white tack. I guess that was 2011.

How bold of me to not-so-carefully tread on the subject of puns. Let's close this up before my narrow view on this subject gets even more skewed.

This had to be one of the most beautiful insects I had ever seen. I didn't even realise this type of insect existed (thanks to tr33lo for the indentification of it!).
In fact it was so beautiful I spent 15 mins crawling around on the hard, rocky Sierra Nevada ground trying to get a decent shot of it. It was very camera shy, and my knees hurt quite a bit afterwards!
My grandmother packed so many spools of thread into the sewing table and organizer. I don't know what to do with it all.
In the northern part of the city of Kolkata one can see many such small factories which are equipped with loads of machineries that create sheets of cotton from the yarn of white cotton thread. Once the sheet is made it is sent to the various clothing industries to be made into the desired product.

Instead of using nails, I decided to install brass inserts used for carbon arrows. These brass inserts allow me to thread in various feet for proper footing. I have rubber feet, spikes, and my favorites which are the small game “Hammer Heads” shown in the picture. These grab and hold firm on most surfaces I encounter.
Summerhall witnessed a fashion show like no other on Wednesday 16th of April – there were 3D printed outfits and electrically charged couture at this event co-ordinated with Anne Freemantle of the Edinburgh International Fashion Festival.

My best sewing organization ... Thanks to my Dad and a close friend who returned this antique thread drawer after she no longer needed/wanted it. My Dad had this and said it was a display for thread in a store sooooo to organize I was blessed with this for my studio. ... Best find was mint wooden spools and spools of thread at $2. added character and display to my thread drawer. Now I know where every color and type is. ;)
