A couple of months ago I was contacted by a newspaper in Austria regarding a picture that I took of Thomas Vanek of the Buffalo Sabres. They wanted to use the picture in a newspaper interview with him. I had already released this picture once, so I let them use it as well. I asked that they send me a copy so I can have it, and yesterday I got my copy!! Of course I can't read any of it because it is in the Austrian language, but it is great to see my name next to the picture in print!

My maternal grandfather, Thomas Englishby, pictured in Ireland. I never knew him. He served in the first battalion of the Royal Irish Fusiliers in WW1 and captured by German forces in March 1918 spending time in Geissen and Limberg prison camps.
