A recent custom design commission for an infill corner property, this 2800 SF modern home provides comfort and livability for a young family of five.
The site is bordered by five large established boulevard trees. The chiefly transparent main floor invites natural light into the home but is setback to provide shelter to an outdoor terrace at the front and rear of the home. The house narrows at the back of the property providing added separation from the street.
An expressive 2nd storey level consisting of four bedrooms rests over a glass plinth. A tessellated screen pattern directly opposite window openings on the 2nd level mitigate direct sun while providing additional privacy.
