This view is from bottoms up...literally. See her two legs pointing up to the air. But is there more than meets the eye. Our little "her" may turn out to be a "he"
From the plaque erected by Bord Failte: "The first Tholsel (custom house, city hall, and administrate centre) was built around 1400, when Kilkenny became a walled city. The present building, which is the third Tholsel, was built in 1761, and was restored in 1949, it houses the charters and regalia of the Corporation, and also the civic records, the oldest of which is the "Liber Primus" (c.1200).

The third one was a crop of rouge but with a glossy finish and flash (and some of the later had glare from the window) never really captured it. Sorry about that Sophie.
Along Brandon Trail we had a view out to the mid-south portion of San Francisco Bay. Here I caught a glimpse of the San Mateo Bridge.

Here, I was to ensure i was experienting with the Rule of Thirds. Therefore, as seen i purposefully placed the horse in the left hand side of my photo. With the horse looking in the opposite direction to the camera, I was able to create a leading as the attention of the audience was to see the horse, then be slowly lead towards the sunset. I enhanced the sunset colours a little to create a contrast against the sillhouettes of the trees and horse.

NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) has been in orbit around the Moon since the summer of 2009. Its laser altimeter (LOLA) and camera (LROC) are recording the rugged, airless lunar terrain in exceptional detail, making it possible to visualize the Moon with unprecedented fidelity. This is especially evident in the long shadows cast near the terminator, or day-night line. The pummeled, craggy landscape thrown into high relief at the terminator would be impossible to recreate in the computer without global terrain maps like those from LRO.
