The third event around our 20th-anniversary programming in Switzerland explored the digital and AI revolution shaping our cities.

As urbanization accelerates, digital and AI innovations hold immense potential for city transformation, but alongside inherent risks. We were joined by 100 guests to explore the digital and AI revolution shaping our cities to uncover the pros and cons, discuss ethical considerations, and unlock the potential of a sustainable urban future.

This event was co-hosted by the Institute of Technology in Architecture (ITA), Department of Architecture, ETH Zürich, in collaboration with kühne wicki Future Stuff and supported by the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Digital Fabrication, Empa, Future Cities Laboratory at ETH Zurich, Future City Alliance, Innovation Booster Swiss Smart City, the University of Zurich, the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), and the Zurich Knowledge Center for Sustainable Development.
