The STP group got together today to watch a slowpitch game and it was also a great way to spend a Sunday morning!
Two statues at the Third Tunnel. I think they are South Korean, but not sure, if they are North Korean guards why would they be smiling?
This is the restored third story lounge area of the Fordyce Bathhouse. The tile throughout the bathhouse was magnificent.
The congregation closed in 1986 and was thereafter owned by the Chester Historical Preservation Committee. It was a stone Gothic Revival building designed by the noted Philadelphia architect Isaac Pursell. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in November 2019 but severely damaged by a five-alarm fire on May 28, 2020.
Tart day. From the back- Lemon Meringue tarts, Raspberry/pistachio tarts, Poached pear/caramel tarts, Chocolate tarts, Apple Chibouste tarts, Strawberry cake (One of these things is not like the others...), and the grapefruit crumble tart (mine).
Our front room looks a bit like The Little Shop of Horrors Christmas Special at the moment.
