This picture shows rule of thirds because the subject is on the left, instead of the center.

Justin solved my squirrel problem by hanging my birdfeeder outside my cabin's second-story window, which is right by my bed. It was lovely waking up to see the chickadees... and later, a hairy woodpecker came by too - but he wasn't as enthusiastic about having his photo taken.
