Groot Handelsgebouw ("large trade center"), Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Once the largest building in Europe, now still impressive, with the largest rooftop garden of Rotterdam.

Recently I was flown to New York City to shoot my episode of "The Weekly Flickr." The day before my flight home to Los Angeles I shot this street shot in Union Square looking north. While on the plane I had a window seat facing north and shot images of the sky using the same setting I'd used 24 hours earlier on the street. This image is an actuate depiction of what it'd look like were Manhattan floating 40,000 feet in the air.

My son's dog Maggie refuses to let her big brother Leo hog all the fun. When Leo got the stick away, Maggie chased him till she could jump up and grab hold again.

Meet three of my favorite things.

One: my vintage green table. This table was my grandmother's. It's the table that my mom and uncle grew up eating breakfast and dinner at while discussing the day with my grandparents. It is, hands down, my favorite piece of furniture. At some point, I'll give you a better view.

Two: my oversized "Think Big" coffee mug. I can't stand coffee mugs with handles so small you can't fit your hand inside of them. And this one has green stripes in my favorite shade and as silly as it sounds, the "Think Big" note on it really does make me feel like I can get things accomplished. It doesn't always work, but at least it starts the day off right.

Three: madagascar vanilla nut coffee with caramel and whipped cream. Yes, I have finally perfected an at-home coffee drink that I love even more than my coveted McDonald's fat free sugar free vanilla latte. It's true. If you come over, I'll make you one and you'll fall hopelessly in love with it too.

I was up super late last night processing photos from some of my recent shoots. I'm still working. I am drowning in photo editing at the moment, so it was nice to take a little break for my daily shot. I forgot how it feels to have a little piece of my day that is 100% me time. I've missed that.

Oh, also, this shot was inspired by Jenna's Day 183. I thought I'd continue to put her in the spotlight so that she doesn't back out of starting her new 365 tomorrow like she promised. Love you, Jenna! ♥

Think Big! | Changes

Made of bronze, with his head tilted skyward. Weighs nearly a ton. Created by sculptor Jim Rennert, who named it "Think Big." He hopes that people pose with the man with their heads tilted skyward. ~ www.roadsideamerica.com/tip/40865
