A Hooded Pitta (Pitta sordida) was framed offering best of portrait poses on a perch with curious eyes. Although it was resting under shades the backdrop here was so sublime and smooth that the bird looks very charming. It was long search under hot and humid conditions for it and finally got some snaps in its habitat. Pics was taken from Bibhutibhusan Wildlife Sanctuary, West Bengal, India.

In Dritvík Snæfellsnes
One sees fewer ruins of huts here than in many other fishing stations. That is because the fishermen only made walls and put a tent over, by sail-textil.
Here we can see one "hut", with a large lava rock as a part of a wall.
The fish was dried on low stone walls (lower left) and then kept in small huts, usually round, walls only one stone thic and closing in the top

On rencontre assez fréquemment ce genre d' immeuble dans la sous-préfecture du Puy-de-Dôme. La topographie de la ville ( bâtie à flanc de montagne) , a obligé architectes et constructeurs , à composer avec le terrain.

A park known for its stunning landscape with high sand dunes, parabolic dunes, dune slacks, wetland areas, and a lot of dune lakes. A wonderful place for hiking as I discovered today.
