My first attempt at restoring an old photo. As a racing fan, I looked for a famous old car, and I found the original image at the Library of Congress:

Please view in the full size and compare my edit with the original version - all honest criticism is welcome. I tried to keep the original feel, e.g. the finger prints on the glass plate, while making the image clearer and sharper.

This is a great place to find lots of old images that are without copyright restrictions.

Back to the Cleveland Arcade....this time in color and processed a bit to make it all pop. I could have taken thousands of pictures here and not gotten bored. Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday.

Took the boys to see the 4th of July Parade and to the car show. I was so disappointed when there wasn't a 1950's convertible at the car show. But I got really excited when I saw this beauty coming down the road in the parade. I love the Fins. It is a Cadillac El Dorado Convertible. From the fins, I am estimating it to be around a 1955 or a 1956.
