Sculpture by David Annand in Clyde View Park, Renfrew.
On the bench is inscribed a peom by Collete Bryce:
The future is waiting to be written
all weathers we lean to the task
the sky balanced on our shoulders like the past

Day 77/365
The weird lighting on me is courtesy the tungsten lamps on the ceiling fan and the shadows cast by the table and papers! But, I sorta like it.
I feel like my creativity is drying up. I had to think so hard to get this idea. I hope the creativity bug bites me tomorrow.
Good night!
virtuous patience
the tabby cat's own preserve
lesson to be learned
no critic so sweet
as the one who shines her light
on words gone missing
every writer needs
a cat who listens well to
stories read aloud

You wait for a silence. I wait for a word
Lie next to your frame. Girl unobserved
You change your position, and you're changing me
Casting these shadows; where they shouldn't be
We're interrupted by the heat of the sun. Trying to prevent what’s already begun
You're just a body, I can smell your skin
And when I feel it, you're wearing thin
But I've got a plan. Why don't you be the artist; and make me out of clay?
Why don't you be the writer and decide the words I say?
Because I'd rather pretend I'll still be there at the end
Only it’s too hard to ask... Won't you try to help me
