You're probably not surprised that I love shooting with the gorgeous Heather Jean. I love when she tells me she's in the mood to shoot, boots me out of the house to get ready, and then actually listens to me when I pick out a location. Heather dressed as an extremely sexy Riddler and we headed to Caldwell to shoot in some urban areas. What a fun shoot - even with bystanders gawking at us. I'm only slightly biased but I think Heather keeps getting better - and I absolutely love that smile of hers. Oo la la!! The hardest part is trying to pick my favorites. I took these photos in June 2020.

I had some reservations about this figure, he seemed very lazy on Mattel's part, after all, I already had the excellent wave 5 version, this was just re-paint, filler, meh. You know what? After getting him in hand and despite a wonky leg due to being incorrectly placed in his tray, I really love him. There's something silly, yet iconic about him and the head sculpt is bloody great. He could be the surprise favourite of the wave...

Dutch promotional postcard for Okee. Photo: National Periodical Publications Inc. / 20th Century Fox. Publicity still for Batman - The Movie (1966) with Lee Meriwether as The Catwoman/Kitka, Frank Gorshin as The Riddler, Burgess Meredith as The Penguin, and Cesar Romero as The Joker.

At the beginning of 1966, everything turned Batman. The TV show dominated television, and merchandising - an advertisement for the show even made it to the Super Bowl! The show even was made into a theatrically released movie, also starring Adam West as Batman / Bruce Wayne and Burt Ward as Robin / Dick Grayson. In Batman - the Movie (Leslie H. Martinson, 1966) the Dynamic Duo faces four super-villains - The Catwoman (Lee Meriwether), The Joker (Cesar Romero), The Riddler (Frank Gorshin) and The Penguin (Burgess Meredith) - who plan to hold the world for ransom with the help of a secret invention that instantly dehydrates people.
