Bryn Oh Blog : The path

The Path is an immersive project based around the exquisite corpse concept sometimes used by the Surrealists. Essentially, each chosen artist adds to a composition in sequence. Eight artists were invited to stand upon one of eight different coloured boxes I had set up. Once all had chosen a box to stand on, a chart was rezzed which listed the order of colours which would hten dictate the sequence of artists to compose the scenes for a narrative.

So if red was the first colour on the chart, then the artist standing on the red cube would begin the narrative. If blue were next then the artist on the blue cube would continue the story after red had passed their part on to them.

The artist who goes first composes a short start to a story. They then pass on this segment to the artist who is next on the list. That artist would then write up a continuation of the narrative and pass it on to the third artist. This would continue until reaching the eighth and final artist.

This was the random order of artists:

1-Bryn Oh

2-Colin Fizgig

3-Marcus Inkpen

4-Desdemona Enfield / Douglas Story

5-Maya Paris

6-Claudia222 Jewell

7-Scottius Polke

8-Rose Borchovski

I would like to thank all the artists involved for working so hard on this project and in such a professional manner.

They created a truly brilliant experience for me and hopefully for all the guests as well.

Should i then ingest such ancient technology

That my forefathers shunned for so Long?

And pray to those lords that hold My heart,

In my silent reproach.

The very fiber that makes this ghost smile,

Is inbetween each breath you take.

Remembering that song,

We will sing with honor.

Thoughtful words from the side of my ear.

With a pause and deep stare, we continue.

Strength in the heart, that is the way,

with a dusty pat on the shoulder.

Follow that my choiceless sun,

In meadow, beach, sky, and mountain.

Over great rivers cross with pride.

No bridge is kept from you,

Nor door locked away.

Know this and be free.

Keep to that strength, as my hands open palm.

That path is set before you, do not be afraid.

South Island (New Zealand) "dan florin spataru"

This was taken along a trail at PegHorn Nature Park and Trail in St. Cloud, FL. In a part of the trail, there are steps for people to walk across when the path gets flooded during heavy rains. I always wanted to take a picture of the steps with them getting further away.

PegHorn Nature Park and Trail is located at

2101 Peghorn Way

St. Cloud, FL 34769

Seeing all of your Divine forms before me,

Coming together in one, o soft enrapture.

I woke up on that smoldering battlefield,

Transfixed, Knowing the path set.

You said to me in your gentle voice,

“Yogastha Kuru Karmani”, pausing

moving closer to my eye, you continued,

“Mamanusmara Yudhyacha”

Knowing this,

The path is set.

I had been thinking about the new garden that I started last year for many years before I actually dug up the ground.

I had a vague idea of what I wanted it to look like when I started, but it's starting to look like what I think I envisioned!.....LOL.....does that make any sense?

next year I'll concentrate on planting something Like creeping thyme in between the stepping stones.

Ou quand des buildeurs de génie décident de s'associer pour nous faire rêver.....à aller voir absolument et prévoir du temps beaucoup de temps (surtout la partie de Bryn Oh comme d'hab :-))

Life is not a race. Find joy in the journey.

You know as parents we're suppose to nurture and guide our children to future ahead.

When I took this photo of my wife leading my youngest boy on a walk.... I noticed he was walking on a path where she is holding his little back. When I was growing up, I had never received a guidance from my parents like she is providing.... well, long stories for another time. I felt warmth in this photo which doesn't have any significant composition, colors, scene but the actions were more than enough. I did crop heavily due to not having any telephoto lens.

PS. I noticed sign called ORIGINS which I didn't noticed it until now... which adds more meaning to the photo... don't you agree?

A new game! Coming out tomorrow!!!
