Macro Monday
Theme: Candy
Size: Less than 3x3 inches
I used mini M&M Smarties
( approx 9mm in diameter ) and some jelly beans in the background.
A small teaspoon with some honey is placed over a chipped Smartie with a drop of honey falling into the chipped area.
You can see this is the second attempt !
Natural side lighting from 3 o'clock and a small LED torch to illuminate the underside of the teaspoon.

One of my attempts at the "Macro Mondays" theme "Book".
While Schopenhauer certainly is among my favorite philosophers, this particular book "Aphorismen zur Lebensweisheit" seemed like a bunch of random thoughs by a highly flawed individual with a significant lack of empathy and other social skills to me at the time I‘ve read it.
Not sure why it gained any popularity... If you want aphorisms, do yourself a favor and read Kafka‘s "Zürauer Aphorismen" - they are so much better.

This week's theme for Macro Mondays is: patterns in nature. I think this fits the bill.
Done for the Macro Mondays theme of Music. This is a reworking of an upload from 2 years ago, however it was not previously an MM image. Mild texture was applied here.
It's a windy, cool and cloudy day in Jerusalem in the high 60's/f.

The History of Green Tea
The history of green tea dates back over 4,000 years to China, where it is considered a precious beverage and a symbol of harmony between man and nature. After developing in China, green tea spread throughout Asia and the rest of the world.
Green tea gets its name from the preparation method used to prevent the tea leaves from undergoing excessive oxidation. Typically, the leaves are hand-picked and then quickly heated to stop the oxidation process. This is what keeps their natural green color and preserves the health benefits of green tea.
