“There is nothing like looking, if you want to find something.”
Quote ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit
Can you see it? ;-))
I did stand in the balcony for quite a long time to absorb all the beauties that day had to offer in silence and prayed with gratitude for the enormous gift, until the natural sunset lights almost faded and the city lights started appearing everywhere like breaking the silence in a very solemn moment.
I kept repeating dhikr in my heart- "Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allah-il-Azim" (Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allah-il-Azim" (Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection); almost like a reflex, and with the feeling as if the whole world had paused for the moment.
I went back to my old childhood days - the first days of falling in love with the beauties of the creations; where sunset skies were perhaps the most inspiratory of all other nature elements I was attentive to - the days when I used to enjoy the enchantments every day standing on the rooftop with the whole sky above me and wondering with fascination how much beauties can this little world within the great universe out there hold. The days were good; sweet and good ❤️
PS. I finished my journey with 'The Hobbit' and it kind of left an unexpressable heartache inside me. It was a great adventure, after all.
Looking like something out of the Hobbit or Lord of The Rings this is Heybrook Bay on a really low tide, catch it right and you can get some really nice compositions and some great sky's, taken last Friday (21/10/2016) as the sun was setting, not the best month for wildlife so Landscapes it is :)

Not such great photos but these pair of pics will give you an idea of The Shire or Hobbiton movie set which is located within a working farm. My two hour guided tour started at 9.30am but the light was already quite harsh then. (Good weather for sightseeing though). You can see smoke coming out of the chimney of a hobbit's home and The Green Dragon Inn across the lake is where the tour ended with drinks for all visitors. The lake in the Shire is known as The Water.
I believe that, sometimes, you can see ART "already" even if the piece is still not yet finished ;)

For something different, I am posting today two pics of my visit to the Hobbiton movie set on the North Island of New Zealand. It is actually situated within a farm with rolling hills and sheep.

All that is gold does not glitter,
not all those who wander are lost;
the old that is strong does not wither,
deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Went to mountain climbing for the first time(who knows, might be last) in life - which included hiking up for about two hours with heavy breathing and steep tracks(which i enjoyed very much as it made me feel wild and on an adventure like a hobbit... Bilbo), staying for the night and again back to earth - to clear my head, which didn't quite happen but I did find my soul among all those 'silent but loud' souls there. It did feel like intruding into the secret lives of those woods, but Alhamdulillah(praises to the Creator), I did find my soul for a while. Maybe I'll share the photos many days later, maybe the stories would come to me in a different way than they will now. Maybe someday, in the future when I'll be sad and gloomy, but at least I'll have some stories to tell while looking back on the memories with nature.
Hope you are all doing well :)
For me, a whole January rest has put me in a position with a huge pile-up of studies that I have to cover and many more lessons to learn.
Wishing you all a very good February Sunday, anyway 🌊
P.S. the title from the song 'coney island', which i am very fond of - as it gives a feeling that reaches deep to the bones - it did get colder after the sun went down.
Looking from Worcestershire Beacon, towards (left to right) Sugarloaf Hill, Table Hill & North Hill on
the range of Malvern Hills that runs along the Herefordshire-Worcestershire border, although Worcestershire Beacon itself lies entirely within Worcestershire.
The Malvern Hills are a range of hills in the English counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and a small area of northern Gloucestershire, dominating the surrounding countryside and the towns and villages of the district of Malvern. The highest summit of the hills affords a panorama of the Severn valley with the hills of Herefordshire and the Welsh mountains, parts of thirteen counties, the Bristol Channel, and the cathedrals of Worcester, Gloucester and Hereford.
The name Malvern is probably derived from the ancient British moel-bryn, meaning "Bare-Hill", the nearest modern equivalent being the Welsh moelfryn (bald hill). It has been known as Malferna (11th century), Malverne (12th century), and Much Malvern (16–17th century). They are known for their spring water – initially made famous by the region's many holy wells, and later through the development of the 19th century spa town of Great Malvern, a process which culminated in the production of the modern bottled Malvern Water.
Flint axes, arrowheads, and flakes found in the area are attributed to early Bronze Age settlers, and the 'Shire Ditch', a late Bronze Age boundary earthwork possibly dating from around 1000 BC, was constructed along part of the crest of the hills near the site of later settlements. The Wyche Cutting, a mountain pass through the hills was in use in prehistoric times as part of the salt route from Droitwich to South Wales. A 19th century discovery of over two hundred metal money bars suggests that the area had been inhabited by the La Tène people around 250 BC. Ancient folklore has it that the British chieftain Caractacus made his last stand against the Romans at the British Camp, a site of extensive Iron Age earthworks on a summit of the Malvern Hills close to where Malvern was to be later established.
J.R.R. Tolkien found inspiration in the Malvern landscape which he had viewed from his childhood home in Birmingham and his brother Hilary's home near Evesham. He was introduced to the area by C. S. Lewis, who had brought him here to meet George Sayer, the Head of English at Malvern College. Sayer had been a student of Lewis, and became his biographer, and together with them Tolkien would walk the Malvern Hills. Recordings of Tolkien reading excerpts from The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings were made in Malvern in 1952, at the home of George Sayer. The recordings were later issued on long-playing gramophone records. In the liner notes for J.R.R. Tolkien Reads and Sings his The Hobbit & The Fellowship of the Ring, George Sayer wrote that Tolkien would relive the book as they walked and compared parts of the Malvern Hills to the White Mountains of Gondor.

Hobbiton, New Zealand. The house with the blue green door at the top of the hill is Bilbo's. It's to the right of the tree on top of the hill.
Two pics today featuring Bag End in Hobbiton, the storybook home of Bilbo Baggins and later of Frodo Baggins, and Samwise Gamgee & wife Rosie Cotton too.
"The Hobbit" is seen here on short finals for RWY 09L at London Heathrow, after the long flight from Auckland via Los Angeles.
Based on the scene in the book The Hobbit where Bilbo and the dwarves arrive at Rivendell. I built it for a collab based on the Hobbit with LOTRLUG, and was quite excited to get this part as I've wanted to build a model of Rivendell for a while. I must give some credit to Elven Ranger as his Siege of Imladris model was a huge source of inspiration for this build. Also, credit to Joe (jnj_bricks) for editing the photo! Overall, I think it might be one of my best build yet, and I hope you like it too!
