Happy New Years everyone!! It's 1-1-2020.. wow!! Here is hoping you all have the best year ever! Peace, love and happiness. ❤️ And health! Thank you so much for your support!! I appreciate it so much! Thank you.
All I wanted for Christmas was the adorable Baby Yoda, so wound up getting a 3D printed one. It's actually bright green and pretty crudely printed, so I went to town in Photoshop with him. :-) He's spreading happiness and love for 2020 onto y'all. Here's to a great new year!
p.s. Baby Yoda is on the new Star Wars show The Mandalorian. His official name so far is "the child". He's not really baby Yoda. But we all call him baby Yoda. Kappish? ;-)
Oh, Grogu, what are you getting into now?
Just a couple of action figures in the back yard. Shot on an SX-70.
Lens used:
Minolta 58mm f1.4
The bokeh from this vintage lens has such great character. I need to shoot with it more often!

Baby Yoda likes touching things but really should stay away from this powerful hand!!
Created for Happy Crazy Tuesday theme = Five. As in 5 fingers. HCT! :-)
There are shops in Austria and Germany that sell Christmas decorations throughout the year and this series of pics of Christmas tree ornaments was taken in Salzburg during the month of October.
Ms. Gundy is saying goodbye to The Child. I'm giving Baby Yoda to someone who could use a few more smiles.

Grogu's favorite snack on Nevarro is this sweet and tasty blue macaron.

It has been weeks since Mr Hendricks and I had a chance to do some forced perspective images. About a week ago, the basic idea for this image popped into my noggin. The 1/12 scale pedal cars were easy to find and not very expensive. The simple set was crafted yesterday afternoon. There are elements from three movie franchises and a classic board game in the image.
Here is hoping you all had, "A Happy Childhood".
Happy Halloween!
The 1/12 scale, Supersonic Jet pedal vehicle is by Xonex
The 1/12 scale, Skippy Fire Engine is also by Xonex
"The Child" is by Hasbro
The Toy Story Alien is from Mattel
Despicable Me 3, Fart Blaster Gun is from Thinkway Toys
SORRY! Revenge, electronic talking card game is by Hasbro
Arguably the only thing all Star Wars fans (in my experience) have loved since Disney took over the franchise.
Ain't he cute?

Through the creations that I build, I hope to inspire other young (or perhaps older) LEGO builders to unleash their inner creativity. We all need a positive way to express ourselves, so let's allow LEGO to be an extension of us. Your creativity belongs to you, and nobody can take that away. Build what you want to build, and how you want to build it. Creativity Never Ends!
If you've watched The Mandalorian, you'll know what this is all about. If you didn't.. well you won't. lol..
So then I hope you just enjoy the figures and edit I did. It was taken on my dining room table and other than the figures, looked nothing like the final pic. Editing is such fun and really takes your mind off everything else. A good thing for these times.
It's the Mandalorian himself, IG-11 the droid protector and (saving the best for last) Baby Yoda. :-) Or whatever they're gonna call him. No name has been given yet, other than "the child". We really don't know who he is! But he's REALLY cute! Oh and he likes to eat frogs. ;-)

Super hyped for season 2 of The Manalorian! So I had to build this. Sure there may be better parts to use but these were just the pieces I already had. I did have to buy some brown headlight pieces from Bricklink.
Hope my instructions inspire you to build your own! If you do, let me know in the comments on the YouTube video!
It looks like the entire country is in a deep freeze this weekend.
So whatever hot meal you have in your bowls, be it soup, oatmeal, rice, stew, chili, or mac 'n cheese, stay warm this weekend.

Isolation is tough. We stay home and our only visitor is our daughter. We always enjoy seeing her but we still get a little restless. Best wishes to all in these trying times.
