Everybody does not express themselves the same way and should not be expected to. However you choose to support, it's all needed. Personally, I'd rather have someone fighting next to me who wants to be there than someone who was pressured into it.
Thank you to everyone who has supported creating changes in our society whether it's donating silently or educating yourself about these issues. The revolution is not one size fits all, but I need to know that once the protests are over and it's no longer cool to be rebellious, that the work will continue. My people are hurting and dying. We all watched the senseless murder of George Floyd and have seen the news reports of countless others whose lives were brutally taken simply because of the color of their skin.
Racism, police brutality, and other forms of discrimination did not start in a day and certainly will not end after a few days of civil unrest. Therefore, we must continue to fight for a better world for our children and their children. Do what you can but do something.
