The 48th Fighter Wing is about to enter its 70th year of operations & RAF Lakenheath have painted F-15E Strike Eagle 92-364 with a special paint scheme to celebrate the rich history of Liberty pilots, maintainers and all airmen of the 48th FW.

The paint scheme is based on the Skyblazers aerial demonstration team from the 1950's & 60's, honouring a piece of USAFE's 80-year history.

This is the newly-painted jet blasting through LFA7 last week, leading an F-35A, about 30 minutes prior to both going on static display at the Royal International Air Tattoo, RAF Fairford.

Why outrider is outrider? Because he was a soldier in Stannis' army, where all the chitauri and all the horses had deserted. They had to grow new arms to ride on their own. And here is idea about a half. Stannis liked the idea and we all know him now as Thanos. Example - if you destroy half the population of the planet at once, if half of the deserters from the seers - it will be 25% instead of 50%! Mathnis. I’m just to do some composition with all of the ideas about the merging of the designs of Thanos and Stannis, but it seemed to me that it is better to show them to you separately.

Made this throne MOC around the time the Mighty Micros set was revealed for the sole purpose of propping this Thanos figure on it. Very happy with the throne with all its rocky and brick-like texture a la the MCU appearances of Thanos and honestly, while the torso may be a little simplistic, the face works well next to some of the more detailed Marvel figs and the fig as a whole is great. Suits my needs I suppose. XD

So let me know what you guys think. :)

Hello everyone!

So, this is unusual... anyway i decided to make Thanos head sculpt out of clay, so here we are. So this is not a Lego head, just a sculpt i made for fun.

The head is made out of oven drying clay and the helmet is made out of air drying clay.

So yeah, i wont make a body for him, unless i do??? Most likely not.

Hope you enjoy!

Proxima Midnight: As soon as I saw that Hela headpiece, I knew it would work perfectly for her

Hela headpiece, Malificent head, MM cape, Orca torso, plain gold arm, plain black arm, plain black legs

Supergiant: My favorite of the bunch, and probably the easiest to make

Taskmaster hood/cape, Nebula head, RO stormtrooper torso, plain black arms, plain black hands, Orca legs

Ebony Maw: Suprisingly hard to recreate his robes, but I think I did okay

Grandmaster hair, Emperor head/hands, CMF graduate robe, Sensei Wu torso, plain black arms, plain black legs

Black Dwarf: Probably the hardest to make due to the scale of him compared to the rest

Lurz head/torso, CMF evil knight armor, space police legs

Corvus Glaive: Nothing much to say here

Dementor hood/cape, Witch King head, Emperor torso, Chima raven legs

Comments and criticism are always appreciated

Purist Marvel Superheroes

A father stands proudly behind his daughter.

After seeing infinity war, I definitely wanted to re-do my Thor. My old version was pretty crappy, so I basically scrapped everything but the torso and the hair.

Also wanted to make teenage groot. His body is a skeleton torso that I cut up and glued back together, his arms are general grievous arms, and his legs are lil skeleton legs.

Also my old shitty rocket is there too.

Thanos on throne: Made this throne MOC around the time the Mighty Micros set was revealed for the sole purpose of propping this figure on it. Very happy with the throne and honestly, while the torso may be a little simplistic, the face works well next to some of the more detailed Marvel figs such as Star-Lord here and the fig as a whole is great. Suits my needs I suppose. XD

Star-Lord: Same figure from the original GotG wave just with The Lego Movie radio tile representing 'Awesome Mix Tape Vol. 1' (or Vol. 2 depending on your preferences lol). I've had this figure like this since around the time the set came out and I don't think I ever posted it before so I thought it would be appropriate to have him next to Thanos. :)

Comic Iron Man: Just added longer legs to the Mighty Micros figure. Looks okay, just not too happy with the helmet.

Probably won't be adding this Iron Man to my Malibu Mansion/Hall of Armor MOC. I don't mind the simplistic printing because it evokes that comic book tone, its just the helmet is too rounded and small personally. I liked the MCU version of the helmet more and think this one would have benefitted from a little bit more of a pronounced cheekbone/jawline like the MCU fig, not asking for nothing major. I do however think the fig from the Detroit Steel set's helmet looks better because that printing sort of helps making it seem like the face is thinner than it is.

So let me know what you guys think. :)

With the Marvel universe taking over pop culture of late, I thought it was time to build a Marvel character. As the movies are building towards Infinity War, Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet seemed the obvious choice. These two creations were displayed at Brickworld Chicago this past weekend with the rest of my busts.

Both models are lit with Lifelites. Thanks to Rob Hendrix for providing me with the array of colors for the Gauntlet.

Leggere in Mortal Combat style!

Per la precisione, nell'ordine

Hulk > Von Doom

Silver Surfer > Red Skull

Abomination > Spiderman :'(

Thanos > Iron Man

Abomination > Hulk

Silver Surfer > Venom

Thanos > Cap. America

Thanos > Silver Surfer.

All'ultimo sangue!

My second flashlight figure. Was gonna wait until infinity war to post this, but I got inpatient.

Dread it. Run from it. Destiny still arrives.

Finally made a new Thanos after that old one was inaccurate.

The gauntlet and gold parts were sculpted. His coat tails on the side and back are etape.

I know his pants are grey, in the reference I had, the lighting was off, and I couldn’t tell if they were grey or tan, and chose tan because my grey paint is ass.

Wanna give a shoutout to mah boi TheMooseFigs because he gave me the purple paint for the skin colour (I ended up mixing it with wither purple) and because I used his face design to help with mine.

Also really happy with the gauntlet this time around, I think the paint job came out way cleaner than last time. Also, for those who were curious, if I want him to have all 6 stones, I can just switch the hand with my original Thanos.

Thoughts and Suggestions appreciated!

This blurry shaped cloud make me think of Thanos from the MCU.

Brussels, Belgium.

This is my favorite set from Mighty Micros so far! I could totally use this to make a classic comic book style Iron Man and a regular minifig size Thanos!

THANOS!!!!

HYPERION!!!!!

CAPTAIN MARVEL!!!!!

DEEP SPACE IRON MAN!!!!!

(also Cap)

Listen to this while you look at this build!

Starting building this shortly after Endgame released but didn't finish it till last month. Took me a while to take good photos and find a decent photo editor after that. I'm pretty happy with how the build, photos, and figures turned out. Sorry I haven't been building as much, life has been giving me plenty to do over the past few months. Don't know what my next build will be, but stay tuned for that. Hopefully I'll have something built by October.

C&C is appreciated!

SDCC 2012: Day 1(Gentle Giant)

I waited years to finally make my own Thanos & Infinity Gauntlet. It was so awesome to finally do so for the showcase after all these years.

Thanos was inspired by McLovin's.

Watch the Avengers: Infinity War showcase now:

Heavily inspired by the Moose Figs, here's a minifig scale Endgame Thanos.

Details just not perfect

But i hope you guys like it.

And I would do it again.

when INFINITY WAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So after working on this fig for so long, it kinda sucked to hear he's not wearing the armour in IW, but I finished anyway!

The base was a Hulk Bigfig from AOU, which I sanded the hair down.

The entire fig is sculpted by me!

Worthy things to note:

I tried to get some good likeness even on a big fig head, and added the blue eyes based on the Hot Toys figure.

And I added a black wash on all the gold parts except the gauntlet

My favourite part is easily the infinity gauntlet, which I painted and accurately as I could and painted the gems onto, based on the order for he gauntlet brought to D23.
