Literally waiting for hours for this one colorful dinner cruise boat with pink lights to make its appearance. Many other boats passed by, but I wanted the pink one for the contrast with the blue bridge :-)
GPS is the exact spot of the shot. It’s a small public walkway along the river with enough space to set up a tripod. Unfortunately, no MRT or BTS to this location. However the Chao Phraya Express Phra Athit stop is a 5-minute walk away. You can arrive by boat and then take a taxi (Grab) home.

I keep my Thai Basil plant topped out at about 6 feet thereby producing wonderful blooms most of the year. On a day without wind, i shot a series of photos and stacked them with Zerene. Generally these blooms are filled with bees - you can see one in the comments below.

While this may look like a botanical print, it's actually a close-up of leaves in a piece of handmade paper I brought home from Thailand last year. As part of a group craft at a paper factory, we placed local leaves and flowers in a slurry of wood cellulose and pulp which then was left to dry in special frames. A few days later, our custom handmade paper was sent ahead to our hotel in Chiang Mai. Tonight I unwrapped mine and hung it over a lampshade so it was lit from behind. One photo a day. This photo was taken on a street of Surin city in northeastern Thailand. The city is known to be a base to explore Angkor temples in Thailand.
Other photos will be uploaded sometime in the next year.
Near Maya bay!
Maya Bay is a beach on the uninhabited Phi Phi Leh island in Thailand, and is known for its natural beauty and its role in the movie The Beach. Maya Bay will be closed to tourists from August 1 to September 30, 2024, to allow the environment to recover. The decision to close was made after considering environmental concerns and the impact on tourism
