On this day, I was out of town, doing a shoot with Kittiwara. As we wrapped up the shoot, I received some incredibly devastating news. Stuck in a fairly unfamiliar city, alone, and with quite a while until my train home, I had nothing to do but wander and cry.
However, this was some advice that my BFFF text me. And I did it. In fact - these two photographs are that photo, that memory.
i have a pre-WWII edition cell phone with very limited memory (and even less functionality). after a certain number of text messages, it threatens to not allow any new ones to come in until i have deleted some older ones. and that's actually a good thing. i have to be very mindful of what i banish. and what i preserve.

Chelsea and I took a walk with our son tonight as the sun was setting. She stopped during our walk for a second to type a text message. I know it looks very mysterious but this is her looking down at her phone.
