Panorámica desde el rÃo Llobregat de la colonia textil de CAL PONS en Puig-Reig, una sinfonÃa de distintos colores verdes de primavera nos presenta el Canal con el agua y los edificios de la fábricas arriba en la montaña recubierta de árboles, los campanarios de su iglesia de Sant Josep asoman por entre los lejanos tejados. Paisajes primaverales con aspectos paisajistas de la Colonia entre las montañas de la comarca del Berguedà en Catalunya. Pintura del artista pintor Ernest Descals sobre papel de 50 x 70 centÃmetros. Interesante la observación de la luz del cielo que contrasta con las partes bajas donde imperan las sombras y los reflejos.
Arrow Mill, Castleton, Rochdale was was designed by Sydney Stott for R & T Howarth. It was built very quickly. The contract to build was signed in late 1906, the first brick was laid in January 1907, the engine first ran under steam in February 1908 and the first cotton was spun in this large mill fifteen months after the first brick was laid. It was acquired by Courtaulds Ltd in 1934 and sold by them to Arrow Mill Fabrics Ltd in 1979. This was the last cotton mill to operate in the Rochdale area and did not cease production until the late 1990s. It is now listed Grade II and is in multiple occupation.

It is a wonderful handmade Carpet, i don't remember the artist name, but it was so gigant work and full of colours, this is a detail of the back side

Paisatges de VILADOMIU VELL a Gironella, les cases i edificis dels treballadors de l'antiga colònia tèxtil s'enfonsen fins arribar a la fà brica, molta llum del sol al carrer que accentua el contrast i la profunditat sota un cel de tons blaus, les parets plenes de finestres amb una franja de pedres en la part baixa, algunes persones caminant per la vorera. Pintura amb aquarel·les de l'artista pintor Ernest Descals sobre paper de 50 x 70 centÃmetres, pintant el paisatgisme històric de les colònies tèxtils del Llobregat a la comarca del Berguedà , Catalunya.
