this may look like an accident (and to be sure, the emulsion was applied sloppily), but this is actually a very good thing. i decided that i wasn unhappy with the last successful screen i made, so i am back to experimenting with exposures and positives. this time i used transparencies and overlapped two to see if a doubled image would make for a better exposure. it totally did (note the section from the T through the O in motico). anyway, this is of marginal interest to most people but since i had such a hard time finding photos of the screen printing process, I thought i should post some

Test shot of my new Nikkor AF 70-300G on D80. This lens is not a newer VR version. I think its evident on these pictures. But I'm not sure that, for an amateur photographer, paying extra $400 for the newer VR version. s worth the money.

I don't have a true macro. I actually tote around a point and shoot Sony Cybershot DSC-P51. But I can get some nice field of view type shots, I've discovered. It just takes a lot of work to hack it out.
I was just testing the "upload by email" feature on flickr, using my MDA Vario PDA/phone while out and about. Works well, but does mean that if anyone ever gets that email address, they could fill my flickr account with who-knows-what!
