thank you to Rob Aparicio for the testimonial :) you should really check out his stream

....jump to reach my lovely friend Mannikon...just to give him a big hug...just to say thank you for writing a beautiful testimonial for me..I am sooo touched...thank you :)

so a lot of people ask me

do you like your name?

i have to say i really do. I don't know the background/history of my name, but i do know it derives from the the name Jane. I can honestly say i like my name very much and have never wished to change it. If i changed it, i think a lot of things in my life would've turned out different. Such as seating plans, if it weren't for my last name being Wen, i wouldn't have met certain people and become close to them. But because of my last name, i have.

i don't know, i guess my thoughts today are a bit random haha, but i do want to know,

do you like your name?

A BIG THANK YOU TO CASEY for the sweet and honest testimonial! it means a lot to me casey, so thank you (:

So basically I'm starting a 365 for the third time, a lot of you guys may be like; "really?". But i am making another attempt. The first attempt failed because of my failure to organize my coursework, and coursework comes before flickr...so that's that, and the second time was going fine until certain events occurred. Ahhh well I'm going o try and try again!

A special thanks to Cody for the lovely testimonial!

This is a thank you for theshutterbugeye who wrote me a lovely testimonial!

www.flickr.com/photos/theshutterbugeye/

Thank you so much!!

This image was so tricky!! I used theshutterbugeye's stream to inspire me for this one but also put my own personal style into it.

theshutterbugeye has taken some really cool photos of buildings lately, halloween inspired pics and is quite the expert at using textures. So I thought I would use those three elements as my inspiration... buildings, halloween and textures!!

I had taken this photo of a very old building on a university campus at Parramatta, Sydney quite a while ago.

I also had a intricate spider web photo which I also had never used so I used that as my texture.

Hope this has turned out ok, I don't do much texture work!

I got 2 wonderful testimonials from some very good flickr buddies. These two ladies are both wonderful artists in their seperate ways.If you haven't checked out Drenay's Photostreamor My girl Nikki's Stream then you are surely missing out.

I just want to thank you both so much for your beautiful words that can be seen here in my testimonials on my profile.

Check them all out they are awesome!

Thanks so much you 4 ! :D

Sometimes we try to capture so much information inside a photo that it ends up being cluttered and over done (I'm guilty of this). Then I see others who make meaningful, beautiful photos with just something simple.

Shooting a wedding includes both things. You have to be able to view the overall wedding as a whole beautiful event, and then also look close for those small things that make it that way.

So instead of spraying the bride with light, I decided to make her entrance to this historic California Mission San Luis Obispo cathedral more personal and let the viewer make up their own mind of what is going on.

sunset @ Pura Tanah Lot

Pura Tanah Lot (Tanah Lot Temple) is Hindu Temple.

Located about 20 km from Denpasar, the temple sits on a huge offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide.

Tanah Lot means "Land in the Middle of the Sea" (in Balinese language) is a famous rock formation off the Indonesian island of Bali.

Note: It is a fantastic place to view beautiful dramatic sunsets. Every day at dusk, tourists throng the area to witness the magnificent silhouette of the temple against the glowing horizon.

Felt a little down yesterday when I looked at my profile and noticed a person who wrote a testimonial for me had deleted her account.

Wouldn't think it would have affected me that much but it really got me thinking all night about it...and how its so...sudden. I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye.

Please. Make sure you leave me a message to tell me if you leave. At least there is some closure.

Press L!

I know I already have one like this but... I don't have anything else to give. haha why am I even doing this 365?

Special thanks to her for the testimonial

TOTW - Copycats and Testimonials.

this shot by runs with *scissors* (a.k.a. the FABULOUS one)

(only took me, OH an hour or so to narrow down my choice from her stream. gah.)

One pear was bigger than another. And I think, in retrospect...they should've traded....erm....yeah.

Anyways. Her pic is so awesome I can't compare. (...compear.)

I mean...c'mon...I had to make a PUN about it to pull it off....sheeesh.

She quipped to me this morning, "I can't wait for the f*ckers who say things like "I like yours way better than that piece of crap you copied this from."

Which is a load of crap and impossible....but uh...you're been warned. ;-)

just sayin'. LMAO.

Oh, and kudos to the hubby- who helped me by letting me know when I'd "centered" my hands correctly. Heh. Yeah, I think we all know why he was okay with that job.....

*grin*

Loves ya all ::hugs::
