L'invention du téléphone et des télécommunications intercontinentales a permis -d'après certains penseurs libéraux- l'avènement d'un village planétaire où tous, nous sommes reliés au reste de l'Humanité tels des frères et soeurs humains.
Et voici donc la preuve à quel point les télécommunications nous rapprochent. :-))
Op Valentijnsdag 2023 werden er meetritten met het ES800 rijtuig uitgevoerd op de HSL 3 tussen Liege-Guillemins en de Duitse grens bij Hergenrath. De tractie werd verzekerd door de 6282 & 6250 van Tuc Rail.
Hier tijdens de eerste heenrit in Baelen.

Telecoms and Tele goes: Technology from the Microwave Era. Our local company TSTT seemed to be too slow to move away from copper and other legacy technologies and now faces stiff competition from other service providers.

Like it or loathe it, the Stokenchurch Telecom Tower is a Chiltern landmark, visible for miles around. When travelling south on the M40, its a welcome sight, as you are getting near home.
Some time ago I went to Chefchaouen and Fez with my Brother.. Chefchaouen is known by it's blue painted streets, it started several years ago and as far as I know there is no particular reason for it, except it's just a tradition here.. :)
When I walked in this street I saw a man sitting, with a phone in his hand and at the left corner there was a sign with "Telecom Maroc".. It made me laugh a little bit, did you?
I used to be a telephone technician in my twenties, and seeing a mess like this makes me cringe lol! I can only imagine trying to troubleshoot a problem in this tangled mess!
