As gossamer drizzel fell and the gathered clouds diffused the light, I saw this deserted playground setting and had a feeling I would find something interesting to photograph.

I loved the way the green and gold of the teeter-totter played off of the shredded tires that were strewn on the ground in lieu of dirt or gravel.

When I pulled the Teeter-Go-Round out to take pictures, I noticed the "Pat'd" mark, and so went searching on the Patent Office's website. I was so happy to find it, since then I could tell how old it was.

Visited Pendroy, MT today, population: 14. As I drove through, I kept thinking that this town was forgotten by time, but maybe that's the way they want it there. The old schoolhouse stood alone in field surrounded by untended grass & snow, slides & swings, waiting for the warmth of children's laughter.

This puppy is real top heavy. Look how it lists just turning onto 28L (check out the bank angle compared to the buildings in the background). The pilot had a hell of a time getting her lined up on centerline.
