Im Fußball-Sonderverkehr in NRW werden mitunter die TRI-Züge eingesetzt. So hatte die in ihren alten TEE-Farben lackierte und bestens gepflegte 110 268, die Aufgabe, mit einer Garnitur n-Wagen Dortmunder Fußballfans zum Auswärtsspiel nach Schalke zu befördern. Zuvor galt es, den Leerreisezug vom Kölner Betriebsbahnhof nach Dortmund zu ziehen. Kurz vor Wetter überquert er die Ruhr, die hier zum Harkortsee aufgestaut ist (Aufnahme vom Hochstativ).

As mentioned in a few of my previous shared images, I did go for a long outing on Stephen's Day as one could not do that for both Christmas Eve or Day. It was coming down in bucketfuls. This is the way down to the 6th Hole Tee box of the Bunclody Golf Course and unfortunately the River Slaney decided to break her banks and encroach onto the course, including submerging the Tee box.

Mit der 103 und dem TEE nach Norddeich (1) by Klaus Zimmermann

Lange 11 Jahre hat es gedauert, bevor eine Lok der Baureihe 103 mit einem TEE wieder den Weg nach Ostfriesland gefunden hat und vielen Eisenbahnfreunden ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert hat.

Am 23. Juli 2022 war es endlich soweit, Zuglok des edlen Zuges war 103 113, die mit -20 min. bei Lathen im Emsland deutlich vor Plan unterwegs war.

Der Wettergott meinte es gut mit vier Fotografen im Lathener Einschnitt, der Zug passte genau in das einzige größere Wolkenloch an diesem Vormittag.

TEE LAKE SUNRISE

Something different for a change. Took a drive to this lake with friends this morning. It lies approximately 20 minutes north west of Deep River, Ontario, Canada. Did you that the province of Ontario has more than 250,000 lakes...that’s amazing!
