So hatte die in ihren alten TEE-Farben lackierte und bestens gepflegte 110 268, die Aufgabe, mit einer Garnitur n-Wagen Dortmunder Fußballfans zum Auswärtsspiel nach Schalke zu befördern. Zuvor galt es, den Leerreisezug vom Kölner Betriebsbahnhof nach Dortmund zu ziehen. Kurz vor Wetter überquert er die Ruhr, die hier zum Harkortsee aufgestaut ist (Aufnahme vom Hochstativ).

A quiet frosty day by the River Tees.

Natürlich alles erfunden, einen planmäßigen TEE über den Schwarzwald gab es nie. Es handelt sich um einem Sonderzug des DB Museums während der ersten Triberger Bahntage, bei welchen das DB Museum Sonderfahrten auf der Schwarzwaldbahn anbot.

Dabei kam auch der nachfolgende Zug zum Einsatz, welcher als TEE 91341 (St.Georgen(Schwarzw) - Hausach) gerade seinen Endbahnhof erreicht hat. Bespannt ist er an diesem Tag mit 111 001 und 218 105 welche damals noch der Westfrankenbahn gehörte.

For this image I used an out of focus "Pears Soap" advert which was colour painted onto a metal plate to serve as a background. The T light didn't sit snug in the glass so I filled the glass with water to get the correct level, I then used an A4 silver card as a base for reflection.
