I always heard a lot of great things about TED Talks and how the speakers inspired the others. Finally, I got a chance to watch that in live.
One of the speakers is actually my friend, Dr. Roger Wong. He is a very well-known doctor specialized in Geriatrics. HE is also the Executive Associate Dean of Education at UBC's Faculty of Medicine.
When he informed me he will be doing a TED Talks, I was very excited. His talk was very touching and professional. His speech was mainly about acute care for older people and geriatric medicine. He shared some of his personal story with his grandma as well. By the end of the speech, everyone stood up and gave a big applause for Roger and his inspiring talk.
Not just Roger, other speakers were equally wonderful as they talk about body shaming, war, sexual harassment, racism, medical error, and budget problems. If you are interested, TEDxStanleyPark videos will be up on YouTube very soon! Check it out!

Natalie Di Luccio is a classically trained Soprano from Toronto, Canada. She has toured with the Grammy & Oscar Award Winning Composer, A.R.Rahman and has also performed for Coke Studio India on MTV. Her singing videos on YouTube have garnered millions of hits across the globe and brought her to India where she sings in many languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Gujarati, Punjabi & Marathi. Natalie has done playback for Bollywood films like Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, English Vinglish, Chennai Express & the Tamil film, “I”. She is also a constant in the jingle circuit lending her voice to many AD films. She has also recorded with Mauro Malavasi, the music producer behind world famous Italian singers Luciano Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli. Her aim is to constantly finding ways of bridging the gap between the east & west through music.
