The Crazy Tuesday theme for 1/17 is measuring and/or measuring instruments. A gazillion years ago I used to videotape memorable events and I designed a business card with this teddy logo. Found a place online that would turn designs into watches- cool huh?

Seen in a friend's yard sale. I already have too many Teddy Bears, so I just took photos. More to come in future weeks. HTBT!
Sara Teddy Bear is part of the Treasured Teddies collection produced in 1991. The complete collection was given to me many years ago. The collection will eventually go to an animal charity. Until I get around to donating them they will come in handy for a photo or two.

Macro Mondays: Teddy Bear
Last December I found this little teddy washed up on the beach. He was tangled into a bit of fencing. I took him home and cleaned him up. Someday I'll give him to someone on the beach...perhaps:)
Teddy should have been painted, I know. But I am trying out monochrome JPEG settings, and Teddy must accept the role of the guinea pig. Window light.

Teddy is his name and he is a Milky Eagle Owl (also known as Verreaux's Eagle-Owl) . He is one of the birds at the falconry I visited last weekend. This very cute and very smart fellow has many fans, one of his biggest fans being my sister. Some time ago I posted a photo of my sister with Teddy when she participated in a workshop at the falconry. This time we only watched him but that was a joy too. I add a capture in the comments which shows Teddy in flight. As action shots aren't exactly my specialty the photo itself isn't great but it's always quite amazing to see an owl in flight.
