Charlotte and Charly wish you a nice Valentine's Day

The Crazy Tuesday theme for 1/17 is measuring and/or measuring instruments. A gazillion years ago I used to videotape memorable events and I designed a business card with this teddy logo. Found a place online that would turn designs into watches- cool huh?

Bruno keeps an eye out for Bigfoot, but there is no ocean to be seen far and wide. He has stolen the spyglass from his guard because he cannot wait for Peter and Oleg to rescue him....
Many teddy bears have made their way to me. I acquired one or two as a child, but most as an adult. The teddy bears live alongside us in the house, scattered artfully of course. This teddy has exceptionally soft fur. He’s at home in the living room on a cushion by the radiator. To keep warm. Winter here has been long, cold, and wet. The teddy bears, like me, haven’t enjoyed it much.
Seen in a friend's yard sale. I already have too many Teddy Bears, so I just took photos. More to come in future weeks. HTBT!
Sara Teddy Bear is part of the Treasured Teddies collection produced in 1991. The complete collection was given to me many years ago. The collection will eventually go to an animal charity. Until I get around to donating them they will come in handy for a photo or two.

"Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance — a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved." - Augusta E. Randel
Peter tries to pick a flower for someone special.
OLEG:
Have you already picked one Peter?
PETER:
Not yet.
I see a very nice one. Can you climb a little bit higher Oleg?
OLEG:
I will try...
It doesn't work Peter.
PETER:
You are a strong bear Oleg...you will succeed.
Yep...have one!
We can go down now.
OLEG:
Actually, I don't think it's such a good idea what we're doing. The bouquet belongs to Mummy Marian.
PETER:
There are still enough flowers, she doesn't notice Oleg and it's for a good cause.
OLEG:
By the way...who is that special person Peter?
PETER;
It's (whispering in Oleg's ear) Je...psss..psssss, because....psss.
OLEG:
Oh...yes...of course!
Helianthus, Annual Sunflower, Common Sunflower 'Teddy Bear'
The puffy head of this pretty flower gives it the name Teddy Bear Sunflower.
The plant is an annual, sown from seed each year in the spring. Helianthus annuus is the botanical name.
Kids really love this Teddy Bear sunflower. This unusual member of the sunflower family is unlike regular types. It has cuddly-looking, 4-5 inch fully-doubled yellow flowers that are held up on sturdy dwarf plants 2 1/2-3 feet tall.
Bruno after the contents of half a bottle of mulled wine, which he thinks is medicine....
BRUNO: "I-I-I'm suuuuure the bllll-bl-blue spooooooooots are go-gooone now! Oh dear, I'm dizzzzzzzy..."
Both bears wish two Flickr friends a happy birthday in the past few days....
The roses are no longer fresh, but it's the gesture that counts.
Happy birthday and long life!
