A couple of years ago I was approached by family member (only by name) who had the assignment to take photos of someone with the same surname, but that you don't know.

She visited for an hour or so as I toured my work with her. She had to take pictures of the person and the job and try to capture something unique from those persons. As I'm a motordriver she took this one as well. Prints were handdeveloped and I scanned it at 600DPI with the Epson CX3200.

Tonight I was troubleshooting a few problems on a network and looking to replace the switch with a spare from home. After I had mapped out the network, tested and labelled all the cabling, I installed the switch in the picture. Only to find that most of the ports on said switch have now failed :(.

I replaced the existing switch, localised the ports and ensured everything was working fully before the end of a frustrating evening.

I like the composition of this pic with the blurred foreground giving great focus on some of the tools I'd been using and the infamous switch.

Orange Man phone support or telemarketing, local or outsourced. It really is quite diverse. It can also be a programming or website maintenance concept.

On bottom: NC3134 board, 2 10/100 ethernet ports, on top: an expansion, the NC3135, adds 2 more ports for a total of four.
