Recording day 1 : we got 5 days to record drums track for staircase wisp' next EP. The first day we just set up everything. Recording drums is a very complicated task : you put a microphone of each piece, but the angle, the distance are critical and a tiny change can make a huge difference.
there's lots of theory, recipes but every room, every drumset and every gear is different, so it's essentially a matter of trial and error : you try a lot of tweakings until some mystic tuning give you the right sound.
6 knobs (Level, High, Low, Drive, Position, Tap Speed) and 2 buttons (Speaker Sim and Bi-Amp), a fast/slow footswitch and True Bypass. Street $295z
