The Turkish Navy Aydin Class mine countermeasures ship T.C.G Amasra M266 underway in Grand Harbour, Malta, part of the Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 2 (SNMCMG2).
Seen at anchor just in Istanbul, the TCG Yildirim was the last of four Yavuz class Frigates. These German designed ships were based on the MEKO 200 design. Yildirim was commissioned in July 89. It was noted heading south early the following morning.
TCG Gökova (F496), a Gabya-class (or G-class) frigate operated by the Turkish Navy, passing Gourock at the start of Exercise Joint Warrior 19-1. The vessel once served in the US Navy, as the Oilver Hazard Perry-class frigate USS Samuel Eliot Morison (FFG-13).

Barbaros-class frigates are the most modern frigates in the Turkish Navy. TCG Oruçreis (F-245) was launched in 1994 and commissioned in 1997. Speed: 32 knots (gas turbine) 22 knots (diesel only) Range: 4,100 nautical miles (8,000 km) at 18 knots (33 km/h)
